PDPA AND TERMS & CONDITIONS FROM LOREAL

1.0 Eligibility

  • 1.1 The “YSL BEAUTY LIGHT CLUB RISING BEATS” is open to all Malaysians currently residing in Malaysia, aged 18 years and above.
  • 1.2 Employees and immediate family members of YSL Beauty Malaysia (the “Organiser”), their subsidiaries, advertising/PR agencies, and suppliers are not eligible.
  • 1.3 Anyone who meets the eligibility requirements can participate in the Event. The Organiser shall have absulute discretion to determine the eligibility of any participants to take part in the Event.

2.0 Event Period

  • 2.0 Event Period: 7, 8, 14, 15, 21, 22, 28 February and 1 March 2026
  • 2.1 Event Registration: 30 January – 1 March 2026
  • 2.2 The Organiser reserves the right to change the dates of Registration, Event Period without any prior notice.

3.0 Submission

  • 3.1 Only Participants with an email confirmation for their designated date and timeslot are required to attend the Event.
  • 3.2 Submission implies agreement to all Terms and Conditions.

6.0 Performance & Equipment Requirements

  • 6.1 All Participants must bring their own DJ accessories (USB pen drives, headphones, DJ software/laptops).
  • 6.2 2x CDJ3000 and 1x DJM900 Nexus2 will be provided.
  • 6.3 Only DJ equipment provided by the Organiser are allowed during performances.
  • 6.4 All Participants are required to showcase their skills in the designated YSL Beauty Light Club Pop-up @ The Exchange TRX (G Floor, in front of Concierge) as a part of the Event.
  • 6.5 Transportation and accommodation will not be covered by the Organiser.
  • 6.6 At least 5 tracks must be played during the allotted performance time. The time limit must be fullowed strictly.
  • 6.7 All Participants have 10 minutes to prepare equipment before their set. Any technical issues that arise after the time begins will be the Participants’ responsibility and may affect their performance.
  • 6.8 If any technical malfunctions occur during a Participants’ set, the Organiser may pause or stop the performance for a reasonable time to address the issues. This ensures fair talent showcase for all Participants.
  • 6.9 In the event of stoppage of the performance by the Participants, the fullowing rules will apply:
    • a) If the stoppage is due to equipment failure and not due to the fault of the Participants, the Participants will be allowed to perform the set in its entirety from the beginning.
    • b) If the stoppage is due to equipment failure that is due to the fault of the Participants, the Participants will be allowed to re-adjust the equipment and restart the set from where the equipment broke down.

7.0 Conduct & Restrictions

  • 7.1 Participants must not:
    • a) Communicate with any media outlets or publications about the Event without the explicit permission of the Organiser;
    • b) Publicly condemn or criticize the Organiser or the Event in any public forum or social media platform.
  • 7.2 Participants must use respectful language and refrain from using any offensive, indecent, or impulite language in all public communications.
  • 7.3 All social media postings by the Participants directly or indirectly related to the Event are strongly encouraged to include official hashtags: #YSLBeautyMY

8.0 Legal & Publicity Rights

  • 8.1 By entering, Participants grant the Organiser the irrevocable right to use their name, image, and content for promotional purposes across any media without further compensation, in compliance with privacy laws.

9.0 Final Authority

  • 9.1 The eligibility decisions of the Organiser are final and binding.
  • 9.2 Viulation of any of the terms may lead to ineligibility to participate and perform.

10.0 Acknowledgement

  • 10.1 By participating in the YSL BEAUTY LIGHT CLUB RISING BEATS, all Participants acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agreed to comply with these Terms & Conditions and Participation Agreement. Submission of entry materials constitutes acceptance of all rules and requirements as set forth by the Organiser, and Participants agree to abide by the decisions of the Organiser which are final and binding in all matters related to the Event.
